How to Build Hide-a-Way Bunk Rails for Your Camper Bunk House
As we are awaiting the delivery of our Jayco 32BHDS camper, we are getting many of our interior projects done ahead of time. One of our projects was to build hide-a-way bunk bed rails for our camper bunkhouse.
In this video, I explain what type of wood I used for the railing, the bracketing I choose to secure the rails to the bunkhouse and how everything is bolted together. One railing is 33″ due to the location of the ladder in the bunkhouse and the other is 45″ for the 70″ bunk bed.
The nice thing about these are they are able to be folded down under the bunk beds when my kids are not sleeping or using the beds.
